Description

The DAK9 Medical Muzzle was inspired by a Special Operations Handler whose dog incurred a gunshot wound and went from best friend to worst enemy. As with all of our products, this muzzle was developed from lessons learned on the battlefield.

The muzzle was designed with input from Special Operations Veterinary personnel with insight into canine battlefield trauma, understanding the necessity to protect the handler but at the same time “do no harm”.

• When dogs are in pain or have a heat injury, they will pant. If you do not allow an injured dog to pant, other complications can occur. Traditional muzzles are too tight for an injured dog. We’ve created a muzzle that can be left open slightly or cinched down completely.
• An adjustable strap takes the muzzle from a medical application to a protective application. The cinching device is dependable and strong.
• The muzzle is lightweight, small, and constructed of durable nylon material with an adjustable strap.
